SYBC Mooring Information

Permanent Moorings

Our permanent mooring availability is ever changing so it is always best to contact us for the current status.  As of 13/04/2026 we have Canalside and Basin moorings available. We also operate a waiting list should no moorings be available when enquiring. If you are interested in becoming a member of South Yorkshire Boat Club, please visit the club and speak with a committee member during any weekend opening hours.

Please note that SYBC is a members’ club, not a low‑cost mooring facility. All members are expected to contribute to the running and upkeep of the club.

Mooring Size Limit – The maximum vessel size for the basin is 38 feet LOA with a 13‑foot beam.

Visiting Boat Instructions: We are a friendly and welcoming club to visitors, our club visitor moorings are on the canal bank just east of Heck bridge. The clubhouse is open Friday evening, Saturday lunch, Saturday evening and Sunday lunch so if you happen to visit outside these hours you may not be able to sample our sociable hospitality.

Please contact Peter Uney (moorings@sybc.uk) for any mooring information.
